Founder Catherine Hinds is considered one of the earliest female beauty industry entrepreneurs and was an early promoter of exfoliation. This could be because of Hinds' scientific view of skincare, as she thought skincare was about health, as much as it was about beauty.
She ran the school until 2001, when her daughter, An, took the reins. One of her granddaughters is also an esthetician. So, this is truly a family passion.
To this day, the Catherine Hinds Institute focuses exclusively on esthetics. It uses a robust and cutting-edge curriculum to help its students leave the school ready for the workforce.
The Catherine Hinds Institute offers Core Esthetics and Master Esthetics programs and continuing education when possible. Classes may include:
Master esthetics students could can learn advanced versions of treatments, as well as plus microneedling, dermaplaning, and more.
